RODNEY James Scarborough, of Spilsby Road, Boston, has died at Hunters Creek care home after a short illness. He was 64.

Born in Woodhall Spa, he lived in the area for 30 years.
A single man, he is survived by daughters Louise, Nicola, Rachel and Ruth.

Mr Scarborough worked as an accountant contractor with various businesses in the area.
He had also been employed as a general manager at Boston Training Agency and in the 1980s was a publican at The Oak Tree, in Anton's Gowt.

His hobbies included football, gardening and reading.
The funeral at Boston Crematorium was conducted by the Rev Simon Dowson and was followed by cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Mr and Mrs R. Woodcock, Mr and Mrs I. Desforges (daughters-in-law and sons-in-law), Rachel and Ruth Scarborough (daughters), Mr A. Woodcock (grandson), Sophie and Sarah Woodcock (granddaughters), Mr D. Scarborough (brother), Mrs J. Wright, Mr G. Preston (cousins).
