EDNA Mavis Stanley (known as Mavis), of Town Drove, Quadring, has died suddenly in Pilgrim Hospital, aged 79.
Born in Surfleet, she had lived in the area for 79 years.
A married woman, she leaves husband Albert, daughters Vivian Schweikhardt and Joy Scase, sisters Jean Rowbottom and Iris Castledine, and brother Brian Templeman.

d worked as farmers at Quadring Bank until retiring 20 years ago.
Her interests included gardening, cooking, sewing, tapestry and dancing, as well as spending time with her family and grandchildren.
The funeral at Quadring church was conducted by the Rev Ian Walters.
Chief family mourners were: Albert Stanley (husband), Vivian and Tony Schweikhardt, Joy and Peter Scase (daughters and sons-in-law), Steven and Jodie Schweikhardt (grandson and wife), Dexter Scase and Sarah Wheatman (grandson and partner), Ashley Scase (grandson), Zoe and Mick Heron (granddaughter and son-in-law), Iris Castledine and Jean Rowbottom (sisters), Brian and Carol Templeman (brother and sister-in-law), Colin and Marie and Mick and Rachel Castledine, Victoria Kelham, Martin and Clare Templeman, David and Melanie and Paul and Caroline Rowbottom, Diane and Garry Giessler (nieces and nephews).
