GLADYS May Danby, formerly of Fishtoft Drove, has died. She was 88.
Mrs Danby was born in Caroline Street, Boston, and lived locally all her life.

The widow of Tom Danby, she is survived by daughters Pam and Mary, grandchildren Suzy, Ian, Tors and Jonathan, and great-grandchildren Leanne, Sherilyn and Harriet May.
Mrs Danby was a member of Boston Ladies Probus Association, Burton House Bowling Club and Boston Indoor Bowling Club. She was also Lincolnshire Ladies Bowls Association president in 1986.

The funeral was conducted by the Rev Jacqui Morton and was followed by interment.

Chief family mourners were: Pam and Bryan (daughter and partner), Mary and Dave (daughter and son-in-law), Suzy, Ian, Tors, Jonathan (grandchildren), Leanne, Sherilyn, Harriet May (great-grandchildren), Joyce Harwood (sister-in-law), Mrs L. Stothard, Mr K. Cooper, Mrs J. Kirton, Mrs I. Kirk (cousins), Barbara and Dennis Sharp, Mr M. Harwood and Sandy, Mrs M. Harwood and Leila, Mr and Mrs D. Milne, Mr and Mrs M. Ladds, Mr D. Harwood, Mrs M. Harwood, Sharon Ealam and Aron, Jenny and Dale Hayhoe (nephews and nieces), Julie Gresham, Sally Adams, Nancy and Bryan Kendall, Muriel and Dave Melton, Janet Pawley, Susan Taylar, Neil and Bev Danby, Joyce Green, Roy and Anne Allan, Roy Chambers (also representing Alison), Margaret Barnsley (also representing Cyril), Steve Foster (also representing Jude and Jess), John and Angela Nickolds (other family members).
