PHYLLIS (Pip) Margaret Lee, of Swinfields, Swineshead, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following illness. She was 82.
Born in Horsington, near Woodhall Spa, she lived in this area for 60 years.

A widow, she is survived by her partner Bob Dimmick, daughter Ann Capps, son Alan Lee, grandchildren Mandy Bent, Joanne Elson, Rachael Wainwright and Matthew Lee, and great-grandchildren Liam Bent, Ryan Bent, George Kime, Lili Kime, Samuel Wainwright, Joseph Lee, and Charlie Elson.

Mrs Lee was a housewife but did landwork for 40 years. She was employed by Matt Verdegaal Bulb Farm.

Mrs Lee was a member of Swineshead Mothers' Union and enjoyed spending time with her family and attending local bingo.

The funeral, conducted by David Taylor, was held at St Mary's Church, Swineshead, and was followed by interment in the churchyard.

Chief family mourners were: Bob Dimmick (partner), Ann and Dick Capps (daughter and son-in-law), Alan and Jill Lee (son and daughter-in-law), Mandy and Alan Bent, Joanne and Andy Elson, Rachael and Daniel Wainwright, Matthew Lee (grandchildren), Liam and Ryan Bent, George and Lili Kime, Charlie Elson (great-grandchildren), Joan Lee (sister), Fred Kent (brother-in-law), and many nephews and nieces.
