ANTHONY John Beesley, of Heathfield Avenue, Lincoln, has died in Lincoln General Hospital, aged 74.
Born in Fishtoft, he lived in this area for nine years.

He leaves a son Stephen Beesley, a daughter Diane Parish, brothers Vic Beesley and Bernhard Beesley, and sisters Greta Golledge, Daphne Wells and Maureen Pick.

During his life, Mr Beesley served in the Royal Air Force in Germany and went on to have jobs with Vauxhall Motors in Luton, Coles Cranes in Grantham, and be a driving instructor in Grantham.

He enjoyed fishing.

The funeral was officiated by humanist celebrant Drew Baxter and was followed by cremation.

Family mourners included most of Mr Beesley’s brothers, his sisters and their partners, and in-laws, his son, daughter and their partners, and granddaughters Amber and Charlotte Beesley.
