JOHN Richard Elleray, of The Orchards, Wyberton, has died at home after a short illness.
He was 61.
Born in Boston, he had lived in the town all his life.
A married man, he leaves wife Sue Elleray, sons Steven Elleray, Wayne Elleray, and Gary Elleray, grandchildren Jason, Scott, Gemma, Katie, Jamie, Liam, Lewis, and Ross, and step-gran
dchildren Ben, Dean, and Molly.
Mr Elleray worked as a business manager with Norprint (Labels) for 31 years.
Away from work, he played for Boston Cricket Club for
47 years, Wyberton Bowling Club, and football for Santos and Real Towell until an injury forced him to stop playing.
His funeral took place at St Botolph's Church and Boston Crematorium. The service was conducted by The Robin Whitehead and was followed by cremation.
Chief family mourners were: Sue Elleray (wife), Steven Elleray and Mandy, Wayne Elleray and Lena, and Gary Elleray and Sharon (sons and partners), Jason, Scott, Gemma, Katie, Jamie, Liam, Lewis, and Ross (grandchildren), Ben, Dean, and Molly (step-grandchildren), Mr and Mrs B. Hatfield, and Mr and Mrs B. Woods (cousins) Mr and Mrs J. Avison, (aunt and uncle), and Mr T. Hill (brother-in-law).
