FRANK Melson has died at his Sleaford Road home following a long illness. He was 65.
Born in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex, he moved to Boston and spent 64 years in the area.

A married man, he leaves his wife Sally, son Graham, daughter-in-law Joanne and granddaughter Amy.

Mr Melson worked as an electrician before being forced to retire early due to illness and was employed by a number of electrical contractors, including Perriam and Williamson, D. Barthorpe, Gilbert and Creasey and Smedleys Unique Foods.

His interests included fishing, gardening and bird watching.

His funeral took place at St Botolph’s Church and was officiated by Rev Robin Whitehead, followed by a cremation.

Chief family mourners were: Sally Melson (wife), Graham Melson (son), Joanne Melson (daughter-in-law) and Amy Melson (granddaughter).

Arrangements by F.E. Addlesee and Son.
