MARGARET Freeman, of Dennis Estate, Kirton, has died at home following illness. She was 84.
Born in Bradford, she lived in this area for 50 years.

She leaves her sons Dave and Marius, a daughter Maria Freeman, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs Freeman was a member of the Land Army in Northampton. She worked as a dinner lady at Frampton and Kirton primary schools and retired in 1984, aged 60.

She enjoyed bingo at Kirton and Algarkirk.

The funeral, officiated by Father David Carney, was held at Boston Crematorium.

Chief family mourners were: Dave Freeman, Marius Freeman (sons), Maria Freeman (daughter), Carol Freeman, Rose Freeman (sisters-in-law), Mark Freeman, David Freeman (grandsons), Maria Tabak (granddaughter), Diane and Lee Freeman-Burdass (granddaughter), Hazel Storr (sister), Ann Raby, Frances Sparks, Louise Lingard, Mandy Davis, Julie Cook (nieces), Rosie and Tommy Icke (sister and brother-in-law), Violet Sandown (sister-in-law), Peter Sandown, Paul Cook (nephews), Robert and Nikki Fossitt (nephew and wife), Danny and Jenny Kade (great-nephew and wife).
