MARGARET Joan Bray, of Holden Drive, Burgh le Marsh, Skegness, has died in Pilgrim Hospital following a long illness. She was 68.
Born in Doncaster she lived in this area for 50 years.
A married woman, she leaves her husband Peter Bray, daughters Carol Kane and Julie Smith, son Simon Bray, grandchildren Ian, Robin and Leanne Walmsley, Nadine and Natalie Smith, and Katie and
Lucie Bray, and great-grandchildren Evie and Leah Walmsley.
In her early employment, Mrs Bray worked as a seamstress, before working for British Telecom. She retired in the early 1980s.
She enjoyed needlework, knitting, reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs Bray also made regular visits to stay with her family in Boston.
The funeral, officiated by Father Terry Steele, was held at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation.
Chief family mourners were: Peter Bray (husband), Carol and Stephen Kane, Julie and Peter Smith (daughters and sons-in-law), Simon and Helen Bray (son and daughter-in-law), Ian Walmsley and Marianne White, Robin Walmsley and Jo Reynolds (grandsons and partners), Leanne Walmsley and Matthew Mooney (granddaughter and partner), Nadine Smith, Natalie Smith, Katie Bray, Lucie Bray (granddaughters), John and Marion Stirling (brother and sister-in-law), Fred Stirling (brother), Jean and Derek Taylor (sister and brother-in-law), Eileen Canton (sister), Carol Hamill, Michelle Atkinson (nieces), John Stirling Jnr (nephew), John and Brenda Bray (brother-in-law and sister-in-law).
