Post Office bosses have announced that Brothertoft Road post office in Boston and Wrangle Common post office were earmarked for closure.

It was also revealed that Gipsey Bridge post office could be reduced to an outreach service.

People living
near the three post offices say their closure would be a hammer blow.

Residents at Brothertoft Road have already set up a campaign group to fight the plans.

The proposals now go into a six week consulatation where Post Office bosses want to hear your views.

And here at The Standard we've produced letters with space to add why your post office should stay open.

You can email stephen.stray@jpress.co.uk or write to us at Church Lane, Boston, PE21 6ND.

We'll print your views and pass them on to Mark Simmonds MP who is fighting the proposals.
