Friday, 9.40am - BOSTON Tennis Club has served up an ace way to help save lives.
The club has been given a defibrillator, meaning members can now swiftly respond to anyone suffering a cardiac arrest in the area.

This means the Sleaford Road centre – whose motto is 'tennis for all, all year round – can now offer aid for all, all year round.

Defibrilator training was the smashing idea of club members William and Stephanie Barrell and Julian Francis.

Club members have also been trained how to use the defibrillator by Phil Abbiss of the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

"EMAS is fortunate to have many dedicated people who support our emergency service response to 999 calls," he said.

"Providing emergency education and support to people means that more lives will be saved."
