Matt sets new Skylark record

From peg one, Matt(pictured) of MAP had a catch of 185lbs 6oz. He caught mainly Carp, fishing shallow down the track on caster.

In second place was Janus Kedzierski (Westwood Lakes) from peg 23 with another big weight of 178lbs 0oz. Paul Oglesbee (Westwood Lakes), peg 31, was third with 171lbs 6oz.

Thirty nine anglers took part in the latest round of the Westwood Teams of Three, with Map Old Ghost winning with a points total of seven.

In second were Norfolk’s Finest with 10 points and in third place were Matrix Trentmen on 16.

The individual placings saw Luke Morley (Westwood Lakes) out on top with 267lbs 8oz of F1 Carp, all caught shallow from peg 3 on Osprey Lake.

Second in the individual was Simon Parker (Angling Direct) with 222lbs 6oz from peg 7, with Matt Pillay (MAP) just behind him having caught 220lbs 8oz from peg 25. They were also on Osprey Lake.

In the Swallow Lake Open Match last Wednesday, Craig Cash (Dudley Rod & Reel) caught Carp to 11lb to win with 77lbs 0oz from peg 18. Craig fished the feeder tight to the island on banded pellet.

Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes) finished second from peg 17 with 62lbs 8oz. Third place went to Cameron Stokes (Westwood Lakes) - 59lbs 2oz from peg 3.
