BADAC quintet feel the heat at Marrakech marathon

FIVE members of Boston and District Athletic Club escaped the ice and snow to compete in the recent Morocco Half Marathon in warm, sunny weather conditions in Marrakech.

Jose Ferriera was the first BADAC runner to finish, producing a personal best time for the distance, recording 1 hour 17 minutes.

Dennis Rainbow crossed the finish line in 1 hr 25 mins.

Third Gold Top to finish was David Johnson, who clocked 1 hr 51 mins with Ken Townsend finishing in a time of 2 hrs 05 mins.

Claire Johnson recorded 2 hrs 17 mins.
