Boston Cricket Club’s Second XI earned a three-wicket victory over Friskney in the South Lincs and Border League Division One.

Mitch Griffiths (28), Ben Troops (26) and Rob Grant (12) helped Friskney to 114 before they were dismissed in the final over.

Sam Gilding, Lewis Holmes, Charlie Ward and Sam Major took two wickets each, with Saihan Azim adding one.

For Boston, Paul Tetther (35 not out), Sam Major (34), Saihan Azim (18) and Lewis Holmes (13) helped the side to 115-7, despite wickets from Ben Troops (three), Michael Troops (two) and Jack Ashton.

Boston Thirds lost by 65 runs at Spalding Thirds in the South Lincs and Border League Division Two.

Spalding were bowled out for 184, with Liam Adams (four), Vikram Kippy (two), Nick Thurlby (two), Steve Appleyard and Jack Tetther taking the wickets.

The Thirds were all out for 119, with Steve Elleray (35) and Kartik Kippy (15) top scoring.

Boston’s Sunday Firsts lost by 38 runs at home to Cherry Willingham in the Lincoln Premier Division.

Willingham finished on 192-5, with Boston reaching 154-9.
