Gloves for Africa boost
BOSTON United goalkeeping coach Bob Warby is helping youngsters with footballing dreams in Africa.
He is backing the Boots For Africa appeal by sending over 75 pairs of goalie gloves to the continent, to help encourage youngsters to take up the sport.
The Boots for Africa campaign asks for unwanted and unused old pairs of boots to be handed to those who cannot get their hands on them otherwise.
But now the keepers are being given a helping hand as well.
WarbyGK has donated the 75 pairs of gloves to the Boots for Africa appeal and the United coach is now calling for additional old pairs of clean gloves to be donated via his website at www.warbygk.com.
The gloves were sent off after Friday's training session, where fellow stoppers Chris Wright and Aaron Butcher marked the handover.
