After a frustrating slump of just one win from eight matches, the Pilgrims have picked up 2-1 victories on the road at Tamworth and FC United of Manchester, forcing themselves back into the promotion mix.

And Felix, who was part of the squad which finished last season unbeaten in their final 12 contests, believes a similar mood is captivating the team.

“We’ve got a buzz around the players, we’re all really hungry for it and working hard for each other,” the winger said.

“I’m buzzing and doing everything I can to make the Boston United fans proud, trying to transfer that hard work onto the pitch.”

With four games to go, Felix is hoping that United can put a strong run together and enter the play-offs in form.

He continued: “This is the best time to pick up form, towards the end of the season.

“We’ve had a bit of a drought. All we can do is keep doing what we do.

“If we get the right result it’ll go from there. We have to keep doing ourselves proud and, if others slip up, it makes our chances of getting in a little easier.”
