Evo-Stik Northern League Division One South Spalding United will be today’s opposition at the Jakemans Stadium.

So far, Greene has used pre-season to give both his newly-assembled squad and trialists game time.

But despite recent rule changes, which allowed trialists to be featured in county cup games as long as they sign forms up to an hour before kick-off, Greene says he wants to focus on his own team.

“We’ll take it seriously, it is a competitive game,” he said.

“We’ll play with what will be our complete squad.

“We’re allowed seven subs, so I don’t think there’ll be any trialists involved in that game.

“It will make it more competitive having the full squad playing.”

Kick off will be at 3pm.
