Boston United club officials have stated there is a ‘50-50’ chance of Saturday’s clash with Gloucester City going ahead.
At present, the York Street surface is covered in two inches of snow.
However, this has been left on as a precaution, to carpet the turf and to stop the thaw setting in.
Groundsman Nobby Croston declared there is a ‘50-50 chance’ of the match being played, following two away postponements this week for the Pilgrims.
If the weather doesn’t deteriorate and heavy rain stays away, then the only problem would be where to put the snow which will be shovelled off the pitch.
