Bostonians encouraged to forge links with Egyptian Paralympians

LINCOLNSHIRE will host athletes from Egypt at a pre-Games training camp as they undergo their final preparations before this summer’s Paralympic Games.

Teams will be based at a number of venues across the region, including the Princess Royal Sports Arena in Boston.

Encouraging communities to get behind these teams, the Minister for Sport and the Olympics, Hugh Robertson MP, has launched Host a Nation Week, an initiative that aims to bring local communities across the UK and nations competing in this summer’s Olympics and Paralympics closer together.

Running from July 16-22, the event will encourage countries using their local facilities, to form links with locals as well as forging new and strengthening existing cultural, sporting and business links with countries from across the world.
