Try your hand at indoor bowls

BOSTON Indoor Bowls Club is holding an open day for people interested in taking up, or learning more about, the sport.

The event will be held on Saturday, January 21.

The Bring A Friend Day calls on members to introduce a novice pal to indoor bowls.

However, even if you have no connection to the club, you are still welcome to go along and have a go.

The event runs from 10am-5pm and people of all ages are welcome.

Boston IBC has thriving adult and junior sections and has produced national champions over the years.

Shoes and bowls will be available for people to borrow.
