Following a fantastic sporting year for Great Britain, Lincolnshire Sports Partnership would like to know who you think should be recognised for their outstanding contribution to sport in the county.
The nominations for the Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2013 are now open.
And now is the chance to nominate someone who you feel deserves to recognised in Lincolnshire.
From volunteering, to personalities, to clubs and education, get your nomination in for someone who you think has been outstanding in their field.
This year, the categories for the Sports Awards 2013 are: Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Young Sportsman of the Year, Young Sportswoman of the Year, Veteran Sportsperson of the Year, Disabled Sportsperson of the Year, Young Disabled Sportsperson of the Year, Coach of the Year, Sports Club of the Year, Sports Volunteer of the Year, Young Sports Volunteer, Sports Educator, Lifetime Achievement Awar, Contribution to Physical Activity, Active 4 Health Award.
Marc Rhodes, events officer at Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, said: “Last year was the ultimate year for sport in Britain because of the London 2012 Olympics, but 2013 has proved that it doesn’t stop there.
“Once again, we have seen some fantastic achievements in sport, not just nationally, but locally as well and now’s the time showcase these achievements in the Sports Awards 2013.
“The Lincolnshire Sports Awards recognises sportspeople from across the county for their sporting achievements in the last 12 months.
“We know that there are lots of talented sportsmen and women in our county, and this is our chance to honour their accomplishments and present them with an award at our annual awards ceremony.”
The deadline to submit a form is September 15, 2013.
