Boston Cricket Club are hoping to pick up 40 points and finish second in the South Lincs and Border Premier Division with their final two games.

Boston have lost four of their last five and boss Tom Baxter has put that down to inconsistency.

He said: “We haven’t been consistent enough. The batting has been poor at times over this period. We are losing wickets too easily at times.

“We must show more application with the bat. Nobody is giving their wicket away on purpose but we are not making ourselves hard to be bowled out and that is costing us.”

The team travel to Sleaford today before travelling to Stamford in the final game of the season next week.
