Elleray out of Sleaford clash

Boston will be able to call on opener Jonny Cheer again, but will still have Kieran Evans (university) and Dave Newman (injury) missing.

Sleaford have won one and lost one of their two completed games this year and will be another tough test for newly-promoted Boston, who lost to Bourne at the weekend.

“We had a good chat after the game and hopefully the weather will improve in the week to allow us some training sessions,” captain Tom Baxter said.

“Bowling wise we have done well.

“We’ve missed a couple of chances in the field but we are reasonably happy with our performances in the field.”

However, Boston’s bowling attack will be depleted due to Scott Elleray missing the game due to a weekend away.

“Scott will be a huge loss as he has bowled well so far, but it gives someone else a chance to take the new ball,” Baxter added.
