Sunday side are defeated
Boston Cricket Club's Sunday Firsts were beaten by seven wickets at Woodhall Spa in the Lincoln & District League Premier.
Ben Troops hit an unbeaten 46 as Boston posted 137-5.
However, Woodhall reached 140-3 in the 29th over, with former Boston captain Jack Luffman top scoring with 41.
Ben Troops (two) and Riley Orr claimed the wickets.
The weather played havoc with this week’s cricket fixtures.
Boston Cricket Club’s Second XI saw their South Lincs and Border League Premier contest at Long Sutton cancelled, while the Thirds’ match at Burgh suffered the same fate.
