Boston Cricket Club’s Second XI lost by 100 runs at home to Stamford Town.

Stamford posted 223-7, with wickets being taken by Abhiraj Singh (three), Kevin Brooks (two), Abhinav Singh and Gareth Epton.

Dave Gilding (35), Epton (23), Abhiraj Singh (22) and Lewis Holmes (14) helped Boston to 123-9 in this South Lincs and Border League Division One contest.

In Division Three, Boston Thirds went down by four wickets at home to Pinchbeck.

Boston scored 177-8, with runs coming from Karl Pick (56), Ryan Walsh (38), Jack Tetther (15), Shaun Moore (15) and Sean Barnett (12).

Pinchbeck reached 178 for the loss of six wickets, taken by Steve Appleyard (two), Shaun Moore (two), Tom Appleyard and Pick.

Boston Sunday Firsts beat Sleaford by 26 runs in the Lincoln and District Premier Division.

Matthew Poole (64) and Luke Gilding (37) led the side to 200-7.

Jonny Cheer took four wickets as Sleaford were restricted to 174-8.

In Division One, Boston Sunday Seconds lost by 96 runs to Nettleham.

Nettleham scored 194-8, with Boston out for 98.
