Boston Cricket Club’s Second XI were beaten by five wickets at home to Market Deeping Seconds on Saturday.
Dave Gilding (11), Tom Poole (24) and Gareth Epton (13) scored early runs in this South Lincs and Border League Division One contest.
The experienced heads of Michael Troops (25) and Tony Baxter (22) began putting runs on the board before Boston were dismissed for 140 in the 41st over.
Deeping responded by hitting 141-5 with five overs left to play.
Troops (two), Ben Troops (two) and Shaun Moore claimed scalps with the ball.
Matthew Hood hit 46 runs for Boston CC’s Sunday Firsts, but it wasn’t enough as the Mayflower men lost their Lincoln and District League Premier Division contest at Bracebridge Heath by eight wickets.
Luke Gilding (14), Tom Poole (28), Gareth Epton (16), Jack Lawrence (12) and Scott Elleray (10) also hit double figures as Boston were all out for 153.
Bracebridge won the contest by scoring 155-2 within the 22nd over, wickets falling to Tim Bell and Scott Elleray.
Revesby earned a 56-run win at Boston Sunday Seconds in the Lincoln League Division One.
Gordon Lane (66), Will Laird (47 not out) Mark Twells (37), Ian Roberts (33) helped the away side to 211-5, wickets falling to Michael Troops (three) and Jack Tetther.
Boston posted 155-5 with Troops (31), Tony Baxter (29 not out), Oliver Thurlby (20), Dave Gilding (18) and Graham Porter (13), scoring well.
Michael Ridding (two), Darren Hunt (two) and Lawrence Steadman took victims.
