EVOLUTION Martial Arts’ kickboxing club had nine competitors invited to the Black Belt Inc British Championships... and returned with two champions.

Competing in Northampton, James Brown was named British champion in the men’s continuous under 75kg.

His success was followed up by Mike Stubley, who was British champion in the men’s continuous over 90kg event.

Nesta Baxter claimed second place in the open hand musical kata while a further silver places went to Zac Baldry in the boys’ points under 4ft 4ins.

Ambie Brockelsby’s showing in the continous under 25kg event saw her claim third.

Lee Brockelsby was third in the men’s continous over 90kg and Mark Baldry was fourth in the men’s continous over 90kg.
