Boston Cricket Club will be keeping an eye on action at the top of the South Lincs and Border League Premier Division this weekend.

The Mayflower men moved 60 points clear of second-placed Sleaford Seconds following Saturday’s 10-wicket drubbing of Moulton Harrox.

Boston Firsts are without a match on Saturday, but Sleaford face third-placed Woodhall Spa Seconds, who sit two points behind them.

“We will look for the result but the position we are in, it doesn’t matter who wins that game,” said captain Tom Baxter, whose side need 21 points from three matches to win the title and promotion.

“It is in our hands and still will be whatever the result on Saturday at Sleaford.”

The only Saturday game for the club will be the Thirds’ short journey to Graves Park in the South Lincs and Border League Division Two.
