Abell is willing, but Boston Town suffer a heavy defeat at St Ives

ADAM Abell netted his first goal for Boston Town - but it was scant consolation as the Poachers went down 5-1 at St Ives.

The host side continued their amazing run on successes on home turf, recording their 16th consecutive victory.

The third-placed Saints took an early lead before Abell - recently promoted from the reserves - levelled.

However, Town trailed 3-1 at the break, conceding two further goals within three minutes of the re-start.
