BOSTON Grammar School’s under 12s and 13s football teams have finished their seasons on a high by being crowned South Lincs Superzone champions.
The Earlier in the season the under 13s played at Newcastle United’s academy centre in the quarter-finals of the ESFA National Cup, qualifying after winning the Boston Schools’ League.
They then went on to face Spalding Grammar School in the Superzone final, where Sam Anthony’s goal proved to be the difference between the two sides.
The under 12s have also enjoyed a successful season, reaching the last 64 of the ESFA National Cup and the semi-final of the Lincolnshire Cup.
In the Boston area they had a 100 per cent record in the Boston Schools’ League, beating Giles, Haven High, Donington and Middlecott.
They qualified to face Spalding GS in the Superzone final, where they came out worthy 2-1 winners. Pictured are the under 12s with director of PE Nigel Wainwright (right) and coach Ian Henton.
