Boston Rugby Club suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday.

Willem Jonker’s side were beaten 43-6 at county rivals Lincoln in the Midlands 3 East(North).

With two games played, the Blue and Whites sit eighth in the 12-team division, with Lincoln top of the pile following back-to-back successes.

Boston began their competitive matches with a 34-3 success at Sleaford in the NLD PLate and started their league campaign with a 22-15 home success against Kesteven.

The Blue and Whites will be involved in league action this Saturday as Loughborough are the visitors to the Princess Royal Sports Arena.

Loughborough are third in the early standings with a 100 per cent record following victories over Belper (41-12) and Aylestone St James (14-0).

Kick off for the contest will be at 3pm.
