Boston Town’s winless start to the UCL Premier continued on Saturday with a 4-1 home defeat to Newport Pagnell.

Alex Beck had given Nathan Collins’ Poachers the lead in the first half, after finishing following Jack Wightwick’s clever pass.

However, Dom Lawless levelled things up seven minutes after the break, and the Swans took control.

An error by debutant keeper Leigh Cook allowed Paul Edgeworth to head Newport Pagnell in front before Fazel Koriya added a brace.

Town are currently sitting bottom of the United Counties League table.

Boston are in league action at Wellingborough on Saturday (KO 3pm).
