BOSTON Town will hold trials at pre-season training, hoping to tap into local talent.

With defenders Lewis Brooks and Loz Lambley opting to join United Counties League Premier Division rivals Spalding United and Deeping Rangers respectively, Poachers bosses Matt Hocking and Ian Dunn want to bolster their side.

Pre-season training begins on Tuesday at Tattershall Road (7pm), with plenty of free agents already showing an interest in the club.

The bosses are keen for hopefuls who think they can cut it with the first team or reserves to turn up and show what they can offer.

The Town second string will compete in the Lincolnshire League next season, facing derbies against the likes of Swineshead Institute and Boston United Reserves.
