Boston Town are in talks to bring two players in to boost their ranks.

Right back Kevin Holt is on their wish list, after managers Ian Dunn and Matt Hocking put in a seven-day approach to Peterborough Sports.

But as well as aiming to lure the Peterborough and District Premier League player to Tattershall Road, the Poachers are also speaking with an unnamed striker from the Boston Saturday Football League.

“We’re looking at adding to the squad,” said Dunn.

“We’re waiting to hear from Kevin, who is strong, solid and good on the ball.

“We’re also talking to a local league player who hasn’t played at this level, but is more than good enough to.

“It’s a case of waiting to see what happens.”
