Boston Town were beaten heavily on Saturday - going down 7-1 at Thurnby Nirvana.
The in-form UCL Premier highflyers took no prisoners against a Poachers side which had kept clean sheets in their previous two contests.
Aaron Eyett netted Town’s consolation, getting the final touch onto Simon Ashton’s header.
Liam Canavan handed Nirvana a fourth-minute lead and completed his hat-trick 30 minutes later.
Matt Melbourne converted a penalty while substitute Celson Patricinio struck a late brace and Reece Morris completed the rout in injury time.
Town are looking to put that defeat behind them this afternoon as they host Deeping Rangers in their final home match of the season (KO 3pm).
