Halloween came early for Boston Town this week, when they were beaten 12-0 at highflying Spalding United on Tuesday evening.

And the horror turned into a nightmare for managers Ian Dunn and Matt Hocking when their tenure came to an end in the wake of the defeat.

Midfielders Ollie Pinner and Lori Borbely will take charge of the team today.

But now the Poachers are looking to bounce back from a week to forget and claim three points which could lift them out of the UCL Premier’s bottom two.

Town travel to face Wellingborough today (KO 3pm).

The Doughboys have already recorded a narrow 1-0 victory at Tattershall Road so far this season, but now Boston are looking to reverse that.

Suspensions for left back Jason Field and leading scorer Josh Ford have come to an end.
