BOSTON Town suffered their third defeat in a row following last night’s 4-1 humbling at Cogenhoe United.

And after drawing their three previous contests, the Poachers have now stretched their run without a win to six matches.

Lori Borbely’s finish gave Town some hope of a fightback after they trailed 2-0, but further Cogenhoe goals sealed Boston’s fate.

Phil Jones selected a starting XI with an unfamiliar look last night, with Ben Martin, Michael Neaverson and Adam Abell all being promoted from the second string.

Karl Bates had put the hosts into a 2-0 lead before Borbely pulled one back after the interval.

However, further finishes from Matt Gearing and Robbie Bushell rubbed salt into Town’s wounds.
