Boston United are hoping they can put the brakes on their poor form as they visit Vauxhall Motors on Saturday.

The Pilgrims haven’t won for six matches and on Thursday parted company with manager Jason Lee.

On Saturday (KO 3pm) they make the long trek to Ellesmere Port, hoping to get back to winning ways under the caretaker stewardship of ex-Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Graham Hyde.

United’s last victory came in the 3-1 FA Trophy win against Colwyn Bay on November 10.

Since then, they have lost to Guiseley, Skelmersdale, Altrincham and Gloucester.

They have also recorded draws against Skelmersdale and Solihull Moors.

Vauxhall Motors lie four places below the Pilgrims in 14th in the Blue Square Bet North.

The Cheshire side ended a run of six straight defeats with a 1-0 away victory at Stalybridge last Saturday.
