Anthony Elding joins Sligo Rovers

Boston Footballer Anthony Elding has joined Irish side Sligo Rovers.

The ex-Boston United, Grimsby Town, Leeds United and Ferencvaros man has linked up with the Airtricity Premier League club before their season kicks off next month.

Elding, 30, began his career with the Pilgrims, helping them win the Conference title in 2002.

Sligo will be the 13th club of his career.

He has also turned out for Crewe Alexandra, Stockport County, Rochdale, Kettering Town, Lincoln City, Gainsborough Trinity, Preston North End and Bedford Town.
