Former Arsenal trainee Rene Steer has joined Boston United.
The left back signed for Dennis Greene’s side at training last night (Thursday), and will be eligible to face Harrogate Town in tomorrow’s Skrill North encounter.
The 23-year-old rose through the ranks at the Emirates, where he was named on the bench by Arsene Wenger in League Cup and Premier League matches.
He also had a spell at Gillingham on loan, but has most recently been on the books of St Neots Town.
Steer rose to promince recently with a stunning 45-yard goal for St Neots in their FA Cup defeat to Canvey Island, which became an internet sensation.
