Ben Milnes has ruled out wholsesale changes at York Street this summer.
The Boston United midfielder believes the current squad have proved that - with a couple of new faces - they are more than capable of taking the Blue Square Bet North by storm next season.
“I think we’ve proved we are a good group,” he said.
“We just need that couple of players to help us find that consistency.
“Hopefully, then we can push for the play-offs.”
The Pilgrims have certainly discovered top-five form since Dennis Greene was handed the managerial job.
Despite Saturday’s defeat at Chester, they have recorded four wins and a draw from the past seven matches.
At a rate of 1.85 points per game right now, that would be enough to see the Pilgrims in fourth place in the Blue Square Bet North table.
