Are Boston United among the favourites to win the National League North? You bet!

Bookmakers Betway have named Dennis Greene’s side among the teams they reckon are in with a real chance of claiming the title and, more importantly, promotion to the National League.

AFC Fylde, last year’s runners-up, are the favourites.

The Pilgrims, Solihull Moors, relegated Alfreton Town and newly-promoted FC United of Manchester are all joint second favourites.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “As the first bookmaker to price up the division, AFC Fylde at 11/2 look like the team to beat following their strong first season in the National League North last year.

“The division is shaping up to be one the most competitive in the country and the likes of Solihull Moors, Telford and FC United of Manchester will be confident of being at the top end of the table come season’s end.”
