BOSTON United have offered 14 players new deals for the upcoming season - but told five squad members they have no future at the club.
Keeper Paul Bastock and winger Ryan Semple are the big shocks, as the pair would have been among the favourites to be offered new deals by manager Jason Lee.
Meanwhile, defenders Kevin Austin and Lee Canoville and midfielder Chris Hall have also left the club.
Hall is no great shock having been the victim of the arrival of Ian Ross and making just one start in the second half of the Blue Square Bet North season.
Canoville’s exit was already well known after he was told he would not continue as joint manager.
meanwhile, at 39 years of age, veteran Austin found a starting place hard to come at stages this season.
