Boston United will play their second pre-season friendly tonight - as they make the short visit to Spalding United.

Dennis Greene is expected to stick with his mixture of Pilgrims and trialists at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field this evening (KO 7.45pm).

The match will also offer a flashback for United’s supporters, as the Tulips - who won promotion to the Evo-Stik Division One South last season - include a number of former Boston players in their ranks.

Gareth Jelleyman, James Cullingworth, Kern Miller, Nick Conroy, Nathan Stainfield, Chris Hall, Lee Beeson and Mark Jones are omong the old boys who could be on show.

United kicked off their warm-up matches on Saturday, beating a Norwich City XI 3-1 thanks to goals from Dayle Southwell, Kaine Felix and Scott Garner.
