BOSTON United have signed central defender Kern Miller.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on Monday after impressing on trial in pre-season.
Miller was a product of Lincoln City’s youth academy, making one appearance before being released.
He was snapped up by Championship side Barnsley, again making one appearance before leaving.
He has since turned out for League Two Accrington Stanley and Hereford United, before further appearances for Gainsborough Trinity and Worksop Town.
Miller’s arrival fits in with manager Jason Lee’s recruiting of young players.
He joins Nathan Stainfield (23), Tom Ward (21) and Conor Marshall (19), Jason Field (19) and Gareth Jelleyman (31) as the Pilgrims’ recognised defenders.
Also, Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Mansfield Town has been postponed until Friday, August 3 (KO 7.45pm).
Instead, Boston make the weekend trek to Spalding United (KO 3pm).
