BOSTON United have moved swiftly to replace departed winger Tyrone Kirk, by snapping up promising youngster Kallum Smith.
The 22-year-old put pen to paper last night, ahead of today’s Blue Square Bet transfer deadline.
Wide man Smith is no stranger to the Pilgrims, having scored against them earlier this season for Lincoln United in the Lincolnshire Senior Shield.
Lincoln lost the tie 3-1, but Smith impressed Boston bosses Jason Lee and Lee Canoville.
“Kallum is a player who has caught our eye over a number of matches and we are pleased that he has agreed to join us,” Canoville said.
“We look forward to seeing what he has to offer over the remaining weeks of the season.”
Smith - who has been with the Whites since the age of 16 - has netted seven times this season, his last cominghis last coming in Tuesday night’s 3-1 win over Quorn.
United hope to add another signing today.
