Dennis Greene has revealed that Boston United should be bringing in two more attacking options ahead of the weekend.

Although he wouldn’t name his targets, the Pilgrims boss expects a winger from Sunderland’s academy to arrive on loan and a striker to join the club on a permanent basis.

Greene said: “We’ve sorted out a deal with a player for Sunderland. That’ll be sorted out by the weekend.

“We’re also hoping to sort out a deal for a centre forwards as Jona (Mark Jones) will be out for six weeks, so we’ll need to replace Jona, we can’t afford to fall away in that period.

“We need a wide player, simple as that.

“We also need a wide player to help get us through the busy Christmas period so we can have a full squad to make tactical substitutions.”

Reflecting on tonight’s 3-3 draw with Harrogate, Greene added: “It was a great game, I want to watch it again.”
