The Boston United Supporters’ Association have launched a Pilgrims Hall of Fame.

On Saturday night the group announced the first four inductees into the hall, which they hope will become an annual event.

The first name to be announced was John Blackwell, whose 38 years of service as secretary, general manager and occasional unused substitute will see him take on the title of club president after leaving his role at the end of the season.

Billy Howells - who played 572 times for the club and won five league titles - was the second name and first ex-player into the hall.

He was followed by all-time appearance record holder Paul Bastock and record goalscorer Chris Cook.
