Jason Callaby has become Boston Town’s new manager after the departure of Mark Angel.

The Poachers announced the change in the dug-out following this afternoon’s 2-2 home draw with Northampton Sileby Rangers.

A statement of the Town website said that: “Mark Angel has left Boston Town for personal reasons.

“His assistant Jason Callaby will take over as manager until the end of the season, with veteran midfielder Terry Fleming stepping up to act as his number two.”

It is understood that family commitments are the reason for the departure of Angel, who joined the club in the summer and was the UCL Premier’s Manager of the Month in November.

Alex Beck netted both of the Poachers’ goals at the DWB Stadium this afternoon, but the away side fought back to earn a point.
