Boston United will host hotly-tipped AFC Fylde at the Jakemans Stadium on Saturday.

Dennis Greene’s Pilgrims are hoping they can repeat last year’s home victory over the Coasters.

On that day, Carl Piergianni scored a brace for the Pilgrims and Zak Mills also found the net as United recorded a 3-1 victory.

Debutant Joel Dixon also capped the display with a late penalty save.

Fylde ended last season in second place, one position higher than the Pilgrims, although both teams were beaten in their play-off semi-final matches.

Dave Challinor’s Fylde, however, began this campaign as strong favourites to win the National League North title.

They also won the last meeting between the two sides, defeating United 3-0 at Kellamergh Park back in February.

Kick off will be at 3pm.
